Partner’s role in the project

  • Deliver an energy plan for Greater Brighton that better supports solar technology development across the city region
  • Provide local examples of the economic benefits of solar energy
  • Address fuel poverty within Brighton & Hove
  • Raise profile of solar energy at a UK level

 

Kirsten Firth has joined Dan Goodchild on the SOLARISE team.

Kirsten brings experience in energy efficiency programmes, private housing improvements, stakeholder engagement and community development. She will lead the solar planning activities of Work Programme 3.

Brighton & Hove City Council has recently appointed consultants Buro Happold to draft an Energy Plan for the area, one of the key components of this will be a review of existing low carbon energy projects and a potential pipeline, and a routemap for enhancing the use of solar energy.
